Prestige Performance—a racing team of Lamborghini Paramus, in partnership with Wayne Taylor Racing (WTR), entered the Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America series in 2015. Their vision was clear: to create a platform for drivers to learn, challenge themselves, and ultimately win races and championships. By 2015, Prestige Performance had already earned a second-place finish in the Driver Points standings and placed third in both the Team and Dealer standings. That inaugural season brought two wins, two second-place finishes, and three third-place finishes. In the following years, the combined force of Prestige Performance and WTR elevated the team to unprecedented heights.
Since its inception, Prestige Performance has been a force in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo series. By 2016, the team had taken a commanding lead, winning eleven races across 24 rounds. It finished first in the North American Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Series, marking the first time in history a team had clinched all four possible championships in the region.
In 2017, the team made another giant leap with a four-car roster that boasted the series' first female driver pairing. At the end of the season, it was crowned North American Lamborghini Super Trofeo champions, taking titles in the Pro, Team, and Dealer categories. Each victory was a testament to its determination and strategic brilliance.
As the years passed, Prestige Performance's influence continued to grow. By 2021, the team had secured eight wins and 23 podium finishes, cementing its position among the best in the Super Trofeo rankings. A sweep at Road America and multiple victories at European circuits capped off an incredible year. With the introduction of the Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2, the future looked even brighter for this powerhouse team.
The 2022 season was nothing short of extraordinary. It marked a year where Prestige Performance soared to new heights, setting the stage for future dominance. The team’s efforts throughout the season proved that hard work and precision can yield remarkable results.
At Watkins Glen International, Danny Formal and Kyle Marcelli delivered a masterclass performance. The No. 1 Prestige Performance Huracán roared past the competition, capturing victory in Race 1. Formal’s daring pass up the hill toward the Corkscrew turn was a moment of brilliance.
At NOLA, the team showed its dominance. The No. 1 Prestige Performance with Wayne Taylor Racing LST took the overall and PRO class victory. The No. 25 Harrison Contracting with Wayne Taylor Racing LST rounded out the podium sweep with second-place finishes in the PRO|AM class over the doubleheader. By the time the season wrapped, Prestige Performance had proven its place at the top.
Prestige Performance dominated at Laguna Seca, showcasing their expertise and adaptability. The team’s stable of four new Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2 cars competed across three classes. The result: one overall win, one class win, and five podium finishes, proving their dominance in North America’s premier Lamborghini racing series.
At the heart of Prestige Performance’s success is the Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2. This supercar is engineered for precision, speed, and control, perfectly suited for the demands of the Super Trofeo series. With 620 horsepower, a sleek aerodynamic design, and advanced telemetry systems, the EVO2 is a force to be reckoned with. Its agile handling and robust performance capabilities make it a favorite among drivers, and its success on the track speaks volumes about its design.
Behind every success is a committed team. Whether it is an engineer or a driver, every Prestige Performance member plays an important role. With years of experience, the team knows that winning is not about the car alone but strategy, preparation, and teamwork.
Returning drivers Kyle Marcelli and Danny Formal, along with new talents Tom Long and Aidan Yoder, ensure that the team remains competitive. Their experience and skill behind the wheel continue to elevate the team's performance, race after race.
